HOW TO ADD SUBTITLES IN VLC MEDIA PLAYER WITH SCREEN SHOTS

This article is the continuation of my previous post regarding how to add subtitles to a movie file.
VLC media player supports subtitles for formats like VOBSUB,SUBRIP,SUBVIEWER,SSA,SAMI.

The simplest way to add subtitles is simply get the .srt file for your desired movie from any of the website as i mentioned in my previous post and extract it to the movie containing folder.

Now open the vlc media player go to preferences from tools tab>select advanced preferences>click on video tab>click on "subtitle/osd"  Now select enable subtitles, enable on screen display, enable sub-pictures.You can manually add subtitles to the movie by selecting the file from the browse option in the same menu or enable auto detect subtitles.

The another way is just drag the subtitle file on to the screen of the player while playing the movie and you can see subtitles. But you don't like it to drag always so go for the first method.

Thank you
